Wendell just spent 3 weeks in Vancouver. His company, Ricoh, was a sponsor at the Olympics! He was able to get a ticket to a snowboarding final where the Canadian won! I think his last name was Anderson? (That just shows you how much I followed the Olympics! I'm a bad Canadian I know!!) He was supposed to spend a total of 4 weeks there but they sent him home early because work was slow! I was very happy & surprised to see him walk through the door a week early! He brought me home flowers (which is rare even on special occasions), a caramel/peanut butter apple (he knows me all too well), and a nice brown jacket!! I am so glad to have him home!
Since winter is coming to a end (HOPEFULLY) I figured I should let Wyatt go out and play in whats left of the snow! It has been so warm outside these last few days and he loves taking off his gloves and eating the snow!
Wyatt has been growing and changing so much lately! It's crazy because every time he learns something new I think to myself I like this stage better than the last one. And then he changes again and I like that stage even more! Like when he started sitting it was the best but it was even better when he started crawling! And then that was great until he started walking and it seems like every stage gets better and better!
At this stage he:
- Has 9 teeth! He has his 8 front teeth and one molar that has cut through on the top. There is another molar that looks like it will cut through soon!
- Can walk like nobody's business! It was amazing how within one day he decided he was ready to go!
- He likes to have his snack at the kids table and then he climbs on top and waits for daddy to get home!
- He has one nap a day! I wish he was still having two but he would not sleep if I put him down! So he has one nap and then some quiet time in his crib if he gets fussy!
- Has figured out how to open the toilet lid! Before he would just play with the toilet paper! We know when the bathroom door is open when he starts running and laughing!
- Has started to throw tantrums! He will get angry if he can't put the lid on something for example and will throw himself onto the ground! This is way to early to start this boy!!
- Most nights he sleeps twelve hours straight except for one week a month he will wake up at least once a night! I call this his time of the month!!
- He has learned how to turn the TV on and off!
- He has learned how to clap, wave bye, give high fives, fist bump, and we are trying to teach him to blow kisses!
Having snack!!
We love our little guy and sometimes its hard to imagine having more children because how can you love another child so much! But we know that when another one arrives our love won't be divided our hearts will just grow bigger! And NO there is no more little Walton's on the way just yet in case you were wondering!!
