The Walton's celebrate the BIG 5!

This year we celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary on May 18th. Lucky for us it was on a  Friday so my parents were able to come and babysit and lucky for me "GLEE" was playing at Jubilations Dinner Theatre which just happens to be one of my favorite television shows (hence THIS post back in 2010). The entertainment was great and the food wasn't too shabby eiher. Even Wendell was laughing and enjoying himself. During intermission and between the dinner courses the cast walked around and talked to people. "Kirk" told me yellow was my power color. He also wore pink sparkly Toms.....

After the show I suprised Wendell with a night at a hotel! (Too much information I know!) He couldn't believe I was able to pull it all off. My parents were staying over night to watch the kids, I had a bag packed and snuck it out to his car when he got home from work, and I had a whole spread of yummy treats and Velata chocolate all ready to go. I even brought the A&W mugs we got as a gift at our wedding.This was the first time since our 1st Anniversary that we actually did something fun and special. I've realized that we definitely need dates like this.

I know we've learned and grown a lot over the past 5 years. Marriage has its ups and downs and we have had our fair share of both. I wouldn't change any of it as we have 2 beautiful little boys and we're the happiest we've ever been!

Today's The Day!

After months of patiently waiting........ today's the day!! I don't know where you will be at 7:28pm tonight but I will be on my couch with the biggest smile on my face!! If you don't watch GLEE you should and if you don't like GLEE you're insane!!

If you have been watching American Idol at all this season you will have seen the many GLEE commercials for when they return in April! These commercials make me so happy and I can barely wait until the show comes back! Because of these commercials and because Wendell is in Vancouver again for another two weeks I have started watching the season again online! I have thought a lot about what makes GLEE so addicting and have made my own GLEE list of why I think it is so awesome!

5. RECORD DEALS ANYONE!!

Matthew Morrison, aka Mr. Schuester, has signed a record deal with Mercury Records and will be recording his debut album soon which is scheduled to be released in the fall. I am sure he will not be the only cast member to record an album as they are all AMAZING.

4. THE AMAZING HOTTIES

Finn is your typical clueless jock but you love him for it and Puck is your typical bad boy that every girl secretly wants! I find both of them irresistible to look at especially when they are serenading me through the television screen with songs like “Can’t fight this feeling,” or “Lean on me!”

3. THE AMAZING MUSIC

Every episode is full of fun and catchy music from show choir songs to current pop music! I also love the fact that there are two... not one... but two albums out for us GLEEKs to buy or download! Some of my favourite GLEE songs are........... you know I can’t pick just a few! I love them all!!

2. SUE SYLVESTER!! Need I say more?

I don't know about the rest of you GLEE lovers but I wish there was a show choir in my high school! I would have taken the slushies to the face or getting my picture defamed in the year book just to be a part of something so GLEEFUL!!
