A two year old is like having a blender......

A two year old is like having a blender.... but you don't have a top for it!!

That's how I've been feeling for a while now! My little man turned 2 last week so I'm sure there will be more chaos and havoc to come!

For his Birthday we got a group of our friends together and went to TOMMY K PLAY! We had never been there before but Wyatt knew immediately what to do! Wendell spent a few hours trying to keep up with him!

Afterwards we came back to our house for pizza and cupcakes!
Luckily we have a group of friends who all of kids close to each other
in age! Wyatt is the oldest and then Macy is the youngest at 10 months! I
can't wait until they are all older and can really play together!

Wyatt loved blowing out the candles on his cupcakes so we had to light them a couple of times so I could get a picture!

We love our 2 year old! He is a lot of fun and full of energy!!
He definitely loves to help out around the house!

PS does anyone know how to format the collages to make them bigger??

O Christmas Tree!

I'm jumping on the bandwagon and finally doing a Christmas post! We went down to Cardston on the 23rd and spent a few days there. We enjoyed our yearly traditions of a sleigh ride around town with my extended Bevans Family and Chinese Food on Christmas Eve with my parents and a few siblings. This year was the "away" year so my siblings spent Christmas Eve at their in-laws houses. It was just us and my sis's family there for Christmas Eve and it was WAY too quiet!

CHRISTMAS EVE

Christmas pj's

Reading stories with Grandma & Malia

Putting out food for Santa & his reindeer with Malia & Casen

CHRISTMAS DAY

On Christmas Day we got up around 8am and opened presents. Wyatt was a little dazed and out of it. He was up most of the night!!

What did Santa bring?

A new lego truck!

A shake n' go Thomas Train!

A Buzz Lightyear Sleeping Bag!

A tool bench from Grandma & Grandpa!

and of course Toy Story 3!

FAIRMONT
That afternoon we drove out to Fairmont Hot Springs and stayed there for a week with most of my family members. We slept in, ate way too much, went swimming, played games and did some activities with the kids.

Having "naps" in Grandma & Grandpa's bed
with Addie, Malia, & Shayde

Making a gingerbread man with mommy

Making playdough with daddy

and swimming at the pool!

We came home on the 1st and spent the afternoon with the Walton family in Okotoks. One thing I need to add to my list on my previous post is to TAKE MORE PICTURES this year! I didn't get my camera out once at dinner so I have no pictures to show for the fun afternoon of visiting and games!!

Now that Christmas is over I can start focusing on BABY!! This last Saturday we spent the day switching rooms around, organizing, and de-junking! I want it all done as soon as possible so I don't have to worry about it later on!

And just for your enjoyment......
Baby Walton @ 23 weeks!
For the record this picture is deceiving! I'm still barely even showing!
I think it's just bloating from all the food I ate at Christmas!!

New New Year's Resolutions

It's that time of year again. NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS!!! We all make them whether we come up with a list in our heads or actually write it down on paper. Typically my list looks like this:
1. Be more consistent with reading the scriptures and ensign.
2. Plan and carry out Family Home Evenings on a regular basis.
3. Attend the temple more regularly
4. Exercise and eat more healthily
5. Say individual and family prayers daily etc. etc.

While all these goals are great ones to have they seem to be the same ones year after year. So this year I have come up with a different list of resolutions to go along with the usual ones that I know will help me in all aspects of my life:
1. Say "I LOVE YOU" more often
2. Argue less
3. Be the first to say "I'M SORRY"
4. Give extra hugs & kisses
5. Be patient
6. Try to understand the other person's point of view
7. Give service
8. Be a shoulder to cry on and not be the one whose always crying
9. Become more involved in the lives of my family members and friends
10. Give thanks to those around me

These resolution's aren't ones that I can cross off a list once I've completed them. They will take months, years, and even a lifetime to accomplish. I know there will be struggles and set backs along the way but I look forward to seeing the change and improvement in my life and in the lives of those around me!
