GLEE

If you have been watching American Idol at all this season you will have seen the many GLEE commercials for when they return in April! These commercials make me so happy and I can barely wait until the show comes back! Because of these commercials and because Wendell is in Vancouver again for another two weeks I have started watching the season again online! I have thought a lot about what makes GLEE so addicting and have made my own GLEE list of why I think it is so awesome!

TOP 5 REASONS WHY I LOVE GLEE!!

5. RECORD DEALS ANYONE!!

Matthew Morrison, aka Mr. Schuester, has signed a record deal with Mercury Records and will be recording his debut album soon which is scheduled to be released in the fall. I am sure he will not be the only cast member to record an album as they are all AMAZING.

4. THE AMAZING HOTTIES

Finn is your typical clueless jock but you love him for it and Puck is your typical bad boy that every girl secretly wants! I find both of them irresistible to look at especially when they are serenading me through the television screen with songs like “Can’t fight this feeling,” or “Lean on me!”

3. THE AMAZING MUSIC

Every episode is full of fun and catchy music from show choir songs to current pop music! I also love the fact that there are two... not one... but two albums out for us GLEEKs to buy or download! Some of my favourite GLEE songs are........... you know I can’t pick just a few! I love them all!!

2. SUE SYLVESTER!! Need I say more?

Here are some of her best quotes!!

SUE: Get ready for the ride of your life Will Schuester. You’re about to board the Sue Sylvester Express. Destination horror!!

SUE: You'll be adding revenge to the long list of things you're no good at, right next to being married, running a high school glee club and finding a hairstyle that doesn't look like a lesbian.

SUE: I can't stand the sight of kids getting emotional, unless it's from physical exhaustion.

SUE: I empower my Cheerios to be champions. Do they go to college? I don't know. I don't care. Should they learn Spanish? Sure, if they wanna become dishwashers and gardeners.

SUE: I don't trust a man with curly hair. I can't help but picture little birds laying sulfurous eggs in there, and it disgusts me.

SUE: I'm going to ask you to smell your armpits. That's the smell of failure, and it's stinking up my office.

And the number one reason I love GLEE is............................

1. THE DESIRE TO BE IN SHOW CHOIR

I don't know about the rest of you GLEE lovers but I wish there was a show choir in my high school! I would have taken the slushies to the face or getting my picture defamed in the year book just to be a part of something so GLEEFUL!!

Our Roadtrip to Cranbrook!

This long weekend we were able to take a roadtrip to Cranbrook BC to visit my brother and his family. They just had a new baby girl on Feb 4th so we were excited to be able to meet Georgia. We were planning on spending the weekend there but Wyatt was a little turd on Friday night and was up half the night so we decided to go home late Saturday night!! I didn't realize until I got home that I didn't take any pictures of Georgia!! Luckily my sis in law is amazing at facebook/blogging and has pictures up everywhere for us to see.

I did take some pictures and videos of Wyatt and Gracie!! They spent most of the weekend taking toys away from each other but in the end decided to share her sucker!!

Meet the Walton's!

I have finally decided to start a blog! I have had numerous friends and family members tell me to take the plunge and do it so I have finally decided to bite the bullet! The only reason I was staying away from blogging is because I am sure I will spend way to much time looking at everyones cute blogs!!

So a little about the Walton's! We are still living in Calgary. We bought a house in the SE last year and we love the city and the area. Wendell works for Ikon Office Solutions who was just bought out by Ricoh. He is actually in Vancouver right now as his company is doing a lot of work for the Olympics. I am a student at Mount Royal University in the Early Learning and Child Care program as well as starting up a day home!

Our little guy Wyatt just turned one on January 19. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by!

He started walking the day Wendell left for Vancouver so he hasn't seen him walk yet! His little personality is starting to come through and I think we are going to be in trouble as he gets older! He is going to be one heck of a trouble maker!!
